The Chipley Christmas Fest will be held on Friday, December 2nd from 4-8pm and Saturday, December 3rd from 9-2pm in Downtown Chipley. Friday night will be full of family-friendly activities. A free sensory photo session will be held inside the Washington County Historical Society Museum from 3:30-4:30pm. The festival will kick off at 4pm with children's games and arts & craft activities under the Farmer's Market Complex on 7th Street. There will be free carriage rides around the square, a free petting zoo, free bounce houses, inflatable carnival slide and 56 foot inflatable obstacle course. Pony rides will be available for $7 per ride and the mechanical bull will be $5 per ride. All activities will be from 4-8pm. A downtown lighted parade will begin at 5:30pm. The Downtown Merchants Holiday Stroll will be from 4-8pm. Visit local shops and restaurants for special goodies, gift certificates, and discounted gifts. Saturday activities will be from 9-2pm and will include arts & craft vendors, free bounce houses, inflatable carnival slide and 56 foot inflatable obstacle course and, new for this year's event, a free artificial ice skating rink. The Chipley Kiwanis Club will have a breakfast on the festival grounds from 9-11am. Come out for our Saturday Holiday Stroll and support our Downtown merchants with more holiday gift ideas and goodies.
