Join the City of Vernon for their annual Independence Day Celebration to be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022. The event kicks off with a parade through Downtown at 4pm. Line-up for the parade will be at 3pm behind City Hall at the old school track. After the parade, head down to the Vernon Sportsplex on Moss Hill Rd for the rest of the night's festivities. There will be vendors, great food, and kids games/activities. Local recording artist, Christon Birge, will take the stage at 7pm and the night will end in a grand fireworks display starting at 9pm.
